Carolyn King, OTR, M.S. Occupational Therapist, Clinic Manager

Carolyn received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She completed her clinical rotation at Big Sky Pediatric Therapy under the supervision of Caren Arnold and joined the Big Sky team upon her completion of school. Carolyn is passionate about collaborating with the families in her care to achieve the highest level of results possible for each child. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going out on the lake and walking her dogs.

Nichol Esparza, Marketing + Assistant Clinic Manager

Nichol escaped the rain and made her way to Austin by way of Seattle, WA. in 2016. She is a proud online communications student at Washington State University (Go Cougs!), holds an associate's degree from Skagit Valley College, as well as a certificate of interior design from the Art Institute of Seattle. Nichol has worn many professional hats and brings over 15 years of experience in office administration, early childhood education, and various creative industries to our admin team. In 2019 she harnessed her creative energy by turning her love of design and flower arranging into a small business where she creates custom floral arrangements for friends, local customers, and special events. Also, in her spare time, she can be found exploring the many restaurants and live music venues that Austin has to offer.

 

Shelly Cobb, Operations Manager

Shelly moved to Austin from East Texas in 1997 when she attended the University of Texas at Austin.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree and has experience working in a variety of healthcare settings that include hospitals, clinics, outpatient surgery, and remote work.  Shelly comes to Big Sky with many years of experience in prior authorization, specifically with Texas Medicaid.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, friends, and family, listening to live music, going to the lake, and exploring all that Austin has to offer.

 


Steve Willingham VP of Therapy Services

A Rio Grande Valley native, Steve Willingham has been in Central Texas since 2005 and has enjoyed networking through the special needs community. With over ten years of industry experience, he’s a strong advocate for our families as he regularly meets with other service providers to help close the gaps. He and his wife Lindsey love the ATX life of outdoor activity and live music! Their dog Shiner loves to roam Zilker Park and they enjoy spending time with nearby family and friends.
